In Zao-town, the spring specialty
is that you can drive by car through
the snow corridor that is piled up beside
the Echo Line from late April to mid-May
when the winter closure of the Zao Echo Line
is lifted. 
You can enjoy the snow with cherry blossoms
in neighboring cities and towns only during
this period.

Only after the opening of the Zao Echo Line
until the snow melts, it stands up to about 9m
at the highest snowfall point where the walls
are highest.
